In recognition of the life and works of Francisco Ayala, the Department of Spanish and Portuguese of the University of Colorado at Boulder held a symposium on October 6 and 7, 2006.
Ayala scholars from our own department as well as distinguished invited faculty from other universities read papers, held round table discussions and dialogued with students and the general audience about this most important author.
